Youth Actors and Workshops
Perry Players offers two sessions of the Youth Theatre Workshops in June of each year. Participants receive two weeks of training in stage movement, audition technique, acting, characterization, make-up, dance, and singing, culminating is three performances on the final weekend.
During the first week, the workshop hours are 9:00 AM until Noon for ages 7 through 12; teenagers may stay until 1:25 PM on Monday through Thursday. On Friday, everyone is finished at noon.
The second week hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 1:55 PM for everyone.
The cost of each session is $140 per youth and includes a complimentary t-shirt.
The workshop is open to youths 7 and up.
A deposit of $50 per child is needed to reserve a space in the workshop. Each workshop has a limited number of spaces. Once the workshop is full, your name will be added to the waiting list.
